I was born a bit quirky to a slightly dysfunctional family in Rockville Centre, New York. My parents were divorced by the time I was five and my life was uprooted about 10 times before I was the age of fourteen. This forced me to grow up a little faster than the average kid and after becoming a mom at the age of 20 I sort of skipped what many explain to be the most exhilarating years of their lives. I still managed to have my fun but being a young, single mother pushed me to be the successful woman I am today.

I'm often referred to as an old soul, the glue between friendships and someone who always has a smile on her face. I proudly wear those titles, but I have faced major obstacles, heartbreak, battled with depression and anxiety and had my fair share of struggle. Life has shown me many difficult lessons and through it all, I live with no regrets as every experience thus far has molded me into exactly what I wanted to be. Though my journey may be a tough one, I make it a point to keep my head held high, remember the standards I have set for myself and to be kind every step of the way.

My love for people has always inspired me to help others in any way I can. That's Life...Unfiltered is the beginning of a movement to bring people of all walks of life together, spread positivity, kindness and teach people to love and take care of themselves so that they can help others do the same. Join me as I share helpful tips on relationships, parenting, and overall self care. We'll discuss sensitive topics, things that make us chuckle and everything in between.
